Join us Tuesday, December 2, 2025 for a hands-on Family Craft Night focused on creativity, friendly competition, and planning for Winter Camp.
Activities for the evening:
- Pinewood Car Derby: build, and paint a small pinewood car. Cars will be built and finished at craft night; the derby race will take place at the Annual Holiday Party. All skill levels welcome; adults will help with tools and finishing touches.
- T‑Shirt Design Contest: sketch and paint designs for this year’s Winter Camp shirt. Bring your finished artwork or images — we’ll collect designs at the event and submit them for judging at the next Navigators meeting.
- Winter Camp Discussion & Skit Planning: brief group discussion and light skit brainstorming to prepare kids for winter camp activities and roles.
Materials will be provided — bring a smock or old shirt for painting and a small box to carry your finished car if possible.
We encourage families to RSVP so we can prepare materials and stations for car-building and to collect T‑shirt design submissions for judging.
